George Skrimizeas is the Managing Director of Caliber Maritime SA, a company active in the Shipping Industry.
With an experience of more than 35 years in the Maritime Field, he has worked in Senior Executive positions in companies in Athens, Hong Kong and London.
He holds a Bachelor Degree of Business Administration from the University of Piraeus and has also completed the coursework required for the “Masters of Science in Finance” at the University of Leicester in United Kingdom, in 2002.
He is a member of: the Economic Chamber of Greece, the Hellenic Management Association where he served also as Chairman of the Board of Directors, the Advisory Committee of the University of Reading in ICMA Henley Business School in United Kingdom (MSc in International Shipping and Finance), the Business Advisory Committee of Maritime programs of ALBA Graduate Business School in Athens and Member of the International Propeller Club of the USA, Port of Piraeus, where he also served as a Governor.
Mr. Skrimizeas was awarded the “Hellenic Quality Leader of the Year” award from the Hellenic Management Association and the European Organization for Quality for the year 2014.
