Dr Serafeim A. Papadimitriou graduated from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, then from Faculty of Dentistry and finally received his PhD thesis on dog periodontitis from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
He is now a professor of Veterinary Surgery and Dentistry in Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the same University.
In the University Clinic he deals everyday with dental and oromaxillofacial surgery cases in companion animals.
He has published numerous publications in veterinary and human dentistry international and national journals; also, he has been invited as a speaker in many national and international Congresses.
His main research interests are: periodontal disease, inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity in cats, endodontics, implant dentistry, maxillofacial surgery, bone defects, etc.
